Steve.... What filament brand and color you use for the crazy gear clock. The purple color. Is it just a purple silk or a multi color silk. I just finished the medium size crazy clock using rainbow silk pla. But I really like that purple. I have a very bright gold I might try all the gears that way too
Some of my clocks use generic purple silk PLA. Then I switched to MatterHackers Blue Raspberry Quantum PLA. It looks awesome, but normal price is $42 for 0.75kg spools. This is what I am using now.
Some manufactures also make a tri-color silk PLA, but the colors blended together too much. I prefer dual color for the gears.
