This is day three of the running of the Large, 21 day, Skeleton Clock and it is working fine. The beat is smooth and strong and the accuracy at this point is within a minute in 24 hours. I am making very small adjustments to the pendulum.
The only glitch to the making of this clock is that the clicks didn't fit in the ratchet very well and even without springs, it was very hard to wind. I sanded the ends of the clicks and it is OK now, but it still isn't as smooth and easy as the other versions of this part for the other clocks.
Still, a wonderful adventure into a different design and a very good running timepiece.
It's good to hear you found a solution for the clicks. I will check it in CAD when I get a chance. Sanding them down is a good fix. Printing them 5% smaller would also work.
The clicks usually benefit from a touch of grease on the sliding parts.
