Sp2 winding drum problems

In the picture la included I can't get these gears to line up, if I take the bearing out the winding drum, will fit but on at the very edge of the part for the bearing. If I put the bearing in, it does not fit at all, it clashes badly.

Everything else works so far.

It looks like there is a mixup with different runtime options. The original design had a 4.2 day runtime with a 42 tooth gear 8 and a 24 tooth gear 7. The improved pallet allows longer runtimes by changing gear ratios to 48:18 for 6.4 days or 50:16 for 7.5 days. They mesh together in pairs, but as you have discovered, individual gears are not interchangeable. Re-print one of the gears and everything should be good.

The following gear meshes are allowed:

gear8_42_1p37 and gear7_24_upper_imp or gear7_24_upper_met depending on if you are using imperial or metric components. This is the original 4.2 day gear set.

gear8_48_1p37_6p4day and gear7_18_upper_imp_6p4day (or *_met_6p4day).

gear8_50_1p37_7p5day and gear7_16_upper_imp_7p5day (or *_met_7p5day).

You already have gear8_48_1p37_6p4day and gear7_24_upper_imp (or _met). Pick a new gear that meshes with one of these. The fastest is to print a new 6.4 day gear 7.
