Are we to use supports when printing the upper part of the weight shell? Or invert the shell with outer supports to hold it up? Whats the shooting solution here please? Support density? If you invert it, do you need supports for the base screw bosses on the inside?

Looks good. Happy to see it working. I wonder if there is a bit of elephants foot. Printing smaller should be a good solution.
Nice. Looks like a good solid pendulum amplitude. Make sure to grab the latest copy of gear 3 and 4 that was just published on Apr 10. It makes the clock run much more reliably.

Supports are built into the design. Scroll through the layers and watch the 45 degree tabs forming on the inside that eventually become a bridge and allow the curved top surface to be finished without additional supports. Any other method would be a nightmare to remove after printing.
