In Printed Clocks
Just wanted to thank you for this amazing well thought out clock design! I've just finished a version in ABS and only issue was that gear4a_54_18 needed to be a sightly tight fit on the arbor (or the spring tension needed to be greater). Otherwise, the gear would not turn moving the hands appropriately. Runs with minimum weight and good pendulum angle. Keeps time very well. I think the ABS might be a bit "more slippery" compared to the PLA filaments. Friction didn't seem to be an issue. All printed on a Bambu Lab X1C with similar profile to your recommendations. Only add-on I made was two push fit locating bits that attach to the wall to prevent moving the clock when winding. Your standard two cups are still used.... but now slip into locating bits that match your bottom pendulum design. So, 20240507_175523.mp4 a big thanks for all your work!
